World Cup 2017: Portugal to be the new team of the tournament
Portugal are set to make their World Cup debut on Friday night when they take on Belgium in a friendly in Saint-Etienne, France.
It will be the first time Portugal have played in the World Cup since 2006 and is the first match in a group stage that will see six nations including Argentina and Uruguay join the competition.
Portugal won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where they defeated hosts Germany 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
